Spotlight: shoo!TAG flea and tick tag

shoo!TAG is an innovative non-toxic alternative to applied flea and tick treatments and conventional insect repellents for mosquitoes, chiggers and flies.  shoo!TAG  uses no sprays, lotions or liquids of any kind.

So how does it work?

The shoo!TAG® is a lightweight plastic card that has a magnetic strip that works off the body’s bio-energetic field. Every living creature has an energy field around it and that energy activates the frequency within the strip that blocks mosquitoes, flies, fleas, chiggers or ticks. The frequency helps deter them away. Simple attach the tag to your pets collar.

Tags will last up to 4 months once they are properly attached to a pet or person’s energy field.

The companies vision was to create a bug repellent that was safe, non-toxic, green, lasted for more than a day, had no liquids, sprays or gels or require the label to read “Caution Hazardous Chemicals Inside”.

Owner Stacey Lemire distributes the product to veterinarians, retail and online. “We designed shoo!TAG® to produce a strong barrier around the animal. While no solution is perfect, ours has seen terrific results in reducing the number of fleas, ticks and flies on your dog or cat.” As consumers become more aware of “green” products shoo!TAG is leading the way by promoting ecologically responsible alternatives to protect our four legged friends from toxic chemicals.

“At least 1,600 pet deaths related to spot on treatments with pyrethroids were reported to the EPA over the last five years…” 1

  1. This article is meant as a product overview. I am waiting for warmer weather so I can test out the actual product on my dog. Will provide updates on my experience later in the summer
